I totally love the lightning effects on this one. Simple, but very effective and they convey nicely feeling of half-lit room.

We don't know yet what the baron has planned for Vincent. The glass and bottles on the table most likely have something to do with it (the baron wouldn't have them around for no reason). Can't be that the baron is planning to make Vincent to drink until he passes out, that would be too easy.

The lighting is very effective - downright creepy. I really wonder why his hatred is so intense and so pathological.

Once I managed to get a translation (I wasn't even sure of the language, I guessed Norwegian but it's Swedish) I see that the quote is very much in keeping with the story... shiver.

GoodThoughts continuing for your own health issues.

*hides face* I'm not sure I want to see what unpleasantness awaits our poor knight this time, oh dear... *peeks through fingers* but of course I will wait with baited breath for the next strip...hang in there, Vincent!

also, love the Tove Jansson quote! It always reminds me of this song: Den st‰ndiga resan (yes, that specific cover - watershed is such a lovely album!)
