Hello everyone!

I started reading the comic about a week or so ago, and saw mention of the forums a little while ago, but I decided to read the whole comic before visiting here.

I'm glad I came across this comic, I like the plot and the characters, and the jokes ('Shut up Dragon' is still funny and always will be!).

And now, dragon research! Yay! I always like seeing new versions of dragons, from evil man-eaters to telepathic companions. Everyone's take is just that little bit different.

And on that subject, virtual cookie for anyone who knows what my name, AKAArzosah, refers to without looking it up.

Well it's been a rather long introduction so I'll shut up now :)

PS I'm doing the polls now, lol!

Hi AKAArzosah (did I spell that right?), welcome to the forums!

Heh, you might be the only one who thinks like that, though, usually I get to hear that it was already overused 3 years ago :)

Guess no cookie for me, then. :( Anyway, welcome! I'd say we don't bite, but I'm not so sure about some of the members...never know about them. :P Especially ak-ryuu. :P

I think "Shut up, dragon" will be funny for a couple more decades...

Hi and welcome to the forums. I wouldn't have known what your nick refers without some googling. So I'm not revealing it either, in case somebody wants virtual cookies ;)

*passes on the virtual cookies and copies 'AKAArzosah' to ensure no misspellings*

Welcome to the forum. :)

I can't speak for the others, but with my name, I'm usually the one who gets bitten. Welcome aboard.

Oh, and Wikipedia lists "Arzosah" as a "copper, green and black dragon who dwells in the far northern mountains" in the Deverry Cycle by Katherine Kerr.

It doesn't matter you can all have virtual cookies anyway! (http://www.cs.duke.edu/~rodger/erich/e11-01a.gif)

Nobody has ever known what it meant without looking it up. It's strange really because I thought they were fairly well-known books...

Katharine Kerr, everybody: read the books about Deverry - good reading, even though there's five or six books before she gets to the Dragon, Arzosah.

Also, thought I'd share with you all my wallpaper: http://www.desktopexchange.com/gallery/albums/Fantasy-wallpaper/Black_Dragon.jpg (I didn't draw it - only wish I was that talented!)

Darn. Well if you do a google image search for 'Black Dragon' it's the first one that comes up.

Did you enjoy the cookies?

(No, I've seen the original one, it is a nice picture, yeah :))
