I was wonder, what people think about Siron? Is he bad guy, evil to the root or is he good guy, trapped inside of that black armour? To me at least he seems to be pretty ruthless guy who does what the baron orders him to do, but mostly only because of the circumstances. But do other people see him differently?

It's the black armor. I couldn't resist.
He sure is one of the good guys. Now, who would be his son?

Vincent. Obviously. With Spiky as his twin sister.

His son? I still think Siron is really a woman. Prolly Edgar's old lover. yap.
Either that or he's a dragon too.

And Roland would be the smuggler with the fastest horse-cart on this side of mountains then.

Good or evil...

I'm really not sure about Siron. He sticks to his rules, I'm pretty sure of that. Can that be accounted for a good guy? Still I cant tell what Sirons Rules are...

Since he's a knight, I guess that means that he follows the knight's code. And I think that he sticks with the rules fairly closely. In addition to those, he might his own set of rules that he follows. Although maybe 'rules' is too strict word here. It's more like sort of personal code that hasn't been written down anywhere and is subject to change according to situation and Siron's mood.

Siron certainly follows Siron Rules, but he alsotakes pleasure in tormenting Vincent whenever possible. He's not completely evil, just really mean.

He is neither for me.
Not good, not evil.
I mean yeah sure he gets pleasure in teasing Vince but he did tell the baron that it wouldn't be good to exhaust him too much... And i do rember that little cute image in the corner of some page that was showing him (Siron) piggy backing small Vince :3
What i think is that we would need go deeper into his past to justify his actions... or not because who we are to judge him? :P
for now i can safely say that (in d&d term's i think most ppl will know)
he is: Lawful Chaotic, with some swings on Neutral mind you.

As a side note. I think that Siron is a dragon. Edgar's brother who was not killed(for some unknown reasons). Its a pure speculation really but: he never-ever takes off his armor in public. Hates dragons, which would fit just idealy since the dragon looking kid did want to be human and dragons wanted him dead. He IS partly immune to Spiky's "mind trick"; notice how others act after her trick and how he did. We dont know how long he was under barons command but he surely was there as knight for the previous baron; which would make him old.. and not strong as he is... unless~ >:3
And that would also change his character to something that we do not know.. but would put him somewhat above old Good and Evil.
Wait wait wouldnt that make curse void? *niach niach* Maybe yes maybe not... mind you that its Edgar who is keeping the curse running and that he doesnt know about his "dear" brothers ongoings.
Ok!... I gotta stop with it because im going wild with it now :P
Ain't I? >:3

I wondered this possibility too, among other things (like he's an empty armour with nobody inside, or a mechanical device steered by a gnome...).

If he were a dragon, that would explain some things, but would also raise more questions. Like why would a dragon choose to serve the old baron? Also if he were a dragon, I think that Edgar would know that.

Best part in this case of course would be his quote: "People living with dragons are all crazy."

I like the gnome idea! xD

To run from other dragons and have a place to live?

No i dont think so... especialy if he would be Edgar's brother.. his mind would me almost human.. or fully human after livin with them so it would be almost impossible to check him that way... and he wears armor all the time.

And everyone in the castle is somewhat crazy... Besides that would be dragon living with humans... Wonder if that would make dragon less crazy xD (yes in my opinion dragons are crazy too)

Hm.. sounds reasonable. Half-blooded characters aren't usually that welcomed by the full-blooded. Especially when it's quite possible that humans and dragons at some distant past fought against each other. This would then support the theory that Siron is a dragon.

I think Edgar would still be able to recognize him. But this idea is not based on any real fact though. The armour hides his appearance, but does it hide his scent and way of moving? And can dragons even tell each others apart by those?

Just great. Now I have this image in my head of Siron having a couple Wunder-Baum in his armour...
