Based on a discussion on another forum, where somebody (in the US) said that virtually all people read webcomics at home (and not at work), while in my experience (with my Europe-centric worldview) many people surf the web (and read webcomics) during the morning coffee break at work, .... I thought I'd make a poll.
When I still had a 9 to 5 office job, I was reading my daily webcomics during my morning coffee break at work. How about you?
(Of course this survey will be somewhat skewed by the fact that the comic updates at an odd time -- midnight Finnish time -- and readers are in quite different timezones .... but well.) _________________ Do you mind? I'm trying to learn about the Okapi. |

I usually read it at home. Sometimes I might read it at work/hotel/on the road with mobile device if I'm on a business trip. _________________ Who keeps the Five Worlds off the maps? Who keeps the lostech under wraps? We do, we do. |

I have a laptop and I study, so I usually check out the webcomics when I turn the computer on for the first time on that day. And I check in the afternoons/evenings too. :P _________________ Holy wow my name is Vincent! :P |

I read it from my dorm, which is located on the school campus and technically "school."
So, home, but home's at school, so school.
I'll vote later. *needs to figure out what he said* _________________ When will the angels dance again? |

Voted at home since I mainly check out SHD-WK either first thing in the morning or last thing at night before I go to bed ;)
I generally check on the American web comics I read whenever I get to College though, since they've usually just updated by that time >.> _________________ "There will be no white flag above my door,

SHD i read solely at home (though i check the forum from work, too).
At Work, during my coffee break, i read some daily comics like dilbert, garfield, peanuts etc. During the (work)day, i read some blogs and a work-related forum. |

I saw my comic on a Nokia 6110 Navigator phone a couple days ago and was amazed that it worked really well there ... the image was almost a perfect fit :) But yeah, it depends a lot on the phone, I guess.
But hey, when I made the site, I even checked that it looks fine in a text browser. Like anyone reads webcomics with a text browser... I would think that would be only very few people ;) _________________ Do you mind? I'm trying to learn about the Okapi. |

I've never tried on my cell phone. I'd really rather not pay the extra money to do that...besides, I have a computer so why not use that? I also don't text on my phone and get REALLY mad when people text me...I don't have text messaging.
Tsk tsk, geckodork. :P _________________ When will the angels dance again? |

But I think my situation's a little different than Kriegel's. |
